Production Folder: Peter and the Mayor – Cosmic Christmas Fan Site

Drawings and painted cels that made up the scene with Peter telling the Mayor he won’t forget to tell his parents to vote for Honest John Thimbley!

I’ve recently been able to add a handful of production folders to the collection. Amazing to think that after 45 years, they’re still together and in such good shape. I’m doing my best to scan and care for them all, since I think they belong in a museum somewhere, but the web will have to do for now. I’ve added all of the original drawings for this snippet of a scene as well as the painted cels that came from them. I’ve even been able to recreate the original animation in gif form, something that’s a little mind-blowing to me, and likely would have been to the people producing these all those years ago…
