Viacom was the distributor to the US market, so it was no doubt used in advertisements for the original syndicated showings in America.

(I love that the image still has the old orange grease pencil crop marks, the way they did things back in the day, before computers and graphic editing software…)

The image is a composite of two cels that weren’t actually used at the same time in the special. A separate Peter and Lucy were combined to make the press photo.
